We have received a couple of questions about the different sampling options that are listed in the QuantumXpert specification sheet. We hope that the more detailed descriptions below can help to clarify the differences.
- Manual Chamber
The manual chamber version is the one pictured on the product page. It uses Nunc brand 8-well sample chambers built on No. 1 coverslips. These chambers are meant to be used with 200 uL samples, but we have successfully been able to use 10 uL drops in these chambers in cases where sample quantities were scarce.
- Microflow Chamber with Autosampler (+/- Temperature Control)
The microflow chamber is our most versatile option that incorporates an external autosampler and a 10 uL microflow chamber for measurement. The autosampler accommodates any combination of 2 standard 96 well plates, 384 well plates, 12 vial racks, or 48 vial racks.
